Biltmore Psychology and Counseling is Resuming In-Person Appointments on June 14, 2021

in person counseling resumes at Biltmore Psychology and Counseling

After almost 15 months, we are extremely excited to announce that we are welcoming clients back to the office for in-person sessions beginning Monday, June 14th.

Telehealth options of video or phone sessions will continue to be available and we ask that you reply to our text reminders with your desired mode of therapy (in-person, video, or phone). This will allow us to make the necessary accommodations for your session in a timely manner.

Additionally, we will begin to send appointment reminder texts two days in advance, starting Tuesday, June 1st, so you will have plenty of time to choose your desired mode of therapy.

The safety of our clients is our top priority and we have implemented the following COVID-19 safety protocols.

1. If you have a fever, cough, are feeling unwell, have been around someone who has symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you select a telehealth option.

2. Masks are to be worn in the office at all times, or please select a telehealth option if you do not desire to wear a mask in the office.

3. Clients should maintain 6 feet of distance while in the waiting room.

4. Hand sanitizer will be readily available.

5. We will complete regular sanitization of shared spaces in between clients.

Thank you for your unwavering support and flexibility in transitioning to virtual therapy during our office closure. Your desire to continue therapy in the most creative ways was genuinely admirable, as you navigated technology and the realm of telehealth. The resiliency displayed during these unexpected times shows your true dedication to self-care, and we have been humbled by your perseverance.

Video Session-Google Meet

1. Find a quiet and private space in which you are comfortable talking with your therapist.

2. Make sure we have the best email address on file. You can text or call us with that information.

3. If using a phone or tablet, download the Google Meet app and ensure you have a strong phone or WiFi connection. If using a laptop or computer, ensure you have a strong WiFi connection and that your webcam is functioning properly.

4. Pull your email inbox up and wait to receive the Google Meet link from your therapist. Keep an eye on your junk/spam folder.

5. Click the link to connect!

Note: Your therapist will call if you haven’t accessed the link after 2 minutes.

Phone Sessions

1. Find a quiet and private space in which you are comfortable talking with your therapist.

2. Make sure we have the best phone number(s) on file. You can text or call us with that information.

3. Ensure you have a strong phone/WiFi connection.

4. Answer the phone call at the time of your appointment.

Note: The phone number will be “Unknown” or could have a varying area code.

We appreciate your support in advance, as we work together in transitioning back to in-person sessions. For those who will be returning to in-person sessions, we cannot wait to see you back in the office! For those who will continue with telehealth options, we look forward to connecting with you.
