About Dr. Estavillo:

Dr. Melissa Estavillo is a Licensed Psychologist and founder of Biltmore Psychology and Counseling. With over 15 years of clinical experience, she specializes in both individual and couples therapy.

Dr. Estavillo has worked in a variety of settings from Hospital Medical Centers to University Counseling Centers. She completed her Internship at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Dept. of Psychiatry in Loma Linda, CA. Additionally, she has taught and supervised graduate and medical students in assessment and advanced therapy skills, and has provided consultation for multidisciplinary teams of neurologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and occupational and speech therapists.

Dr. Estavillo is an expert in her field and a regular commentator for Channel 12 News, KTAR and the Arizona Republic. Most recently, she has been asked to speak about COVID and Mental Health, Step-parenting, and Technology Addiction.

Melissa is a very curious person and loves trying new things. She enjoys hiking, cooking and watching documentaries. She is currently attempting to garden, though her skill of gardening is yet to be determined. Melissa and her husband are Arizona natives, yet love traveling locally, nationally and internationally.

She is passionate about education as a means of social change and fell in love with the students of Zambia’s Northrise University upon visiting the campus.

When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter, and
Boston terrier.
